I am Bella
I am Bella, a "pandemic therapy" dog who joined my Gram, a children's author, in September, 2020. I am not the Lab mix touted by the shelter but half American Staffordshire terrier, quarter German Shepherd, altogether All-American.
I love my routine life and my cuddles with Gram. I work or do tricks for food with Grampa, and tear around the yard hunting sticks.
Sometimes Gram and I work on her author blog or children's book reviews. One day I hope I am a character in one of Gram's children's books.

Bella's first book is about her powerful and sensitive nose. Every time she goes for a walk, she smells the animals in her yard. The illustrations will show you where she walks but, at first glance, you will only see a HINT of each critter. You will have to guess and turn the page to see which animal it actually is.
