Boy, Am I Behind!

Anyone else a bit "behind the 8 ball?" I feel like I've been running behind all summer, at least since June 1st when I wrote my last blog. I started 2 new blogs but that's as far as they got.

So what has kept me busy all summer?? I want to say my family...and, yes, my husband and I did get to meet the fiancee of our oldest grandchild and attend the high school graduation party for our 3rd oldest grandchild. Traveling isn't our favorite pasttime any more so long trips are fewer and farther between. Hopefully we will get to 2nd grandchild's graduation from Omaha nursing school next May and a wedding in Michigan in June.

Bella and Inky have kept us busy just being themselves and trying to figure out how a dog and a cat can "cuddle" in full motion. I've put a couple short videos on Instagram of Inky and her cat-ingly tussles with a towel or a rug. That comment brings me to my REAL struggles of the summer...HOW TO: ______ (marketing, social media, podcasting, etc).

It's all about having a book or two I've written and would now like to share with somebody. See...all my life I have been an educator and shared books with anyone who came near me: library books, Scholastic books, book store books. But now there are protocols, and processes, and rules, and all sorts of hurdles to figure out, in the process of sharing one's OWN books.

I'm of the generation that picked up technology in my 30's and must have by-passed social media's beginnings entirely, as I was too busy teaching. Now I'm trying to figure it all out and decide what actually works for me .
